Getting Ebooks For Free

Ok, so this method is a bit immoral to say the least, and it’s not something that I’ve done (or will do in the future), but I know that it works just by the sheer logic of the idea. You use the same principles of deception that you would use if you were ewhoring, for this free ebook technique.

The strategy is totally easy, and if you’re a personable type of guy/girl than it should be even easier. All you have to do is hold a conversion witht he guy that has already purchased the ebook you want, and you’ll have him begging to give it to you in exchange for something even better. If you still don’t know exactly what I’m talking about, then this is a new method and should be useful to you. Read on for a little bit more of a spoonfed guide to free stuff.

1. Signup a throwaway account on the forum where your ebook is being sold.

2. First, find a free ebook or use a purchased one you’ve gotten previously. One that has a really good sales page.

3. Find a user who has already purchased the ebook you want, and offer to trade the ebook you already have. Tell them how great your ebook is and yada yada, then ask them to email you if they’re interested in trading. Of course you can’t forget to give them your email address.

4. Pm the user that has the ebook you want, offering to trade it for the ebook you already have. Show them the sales page to the ebook, and try and make them ‘want’ to have it. Always end with “Please send me an email at youremail@host.com if you’re interested”.

5. If you get a reply like “Your offer is strange, you say you make loads of money from the ebook you want to trade, yet you can’t just buy the ebook I have?” Then just reply;
“I’ve bought many ebooks and WSO’s in the best which turned out to be utter rip-offs and I don’t feel the need to make that mistake again. Now, I try to get ebooks first for free, and if the content is unique and useful to me, then I do go back and pay for the ebook later.”

6. There are many different angles you can work to get free ebooks from people, so just keep this in mind when you’d like to get a new ebook.

Crowning Glory: American Wives of Princes and Dukes is another great selection from Indigo Publishing. This is a great fairytale-come-true tale of the more than 100 American women who went on to marry royalty.Who could forget the story of King Edward, who abdicated the throne of England to marry Wallis Simpson, a divorced American woman. They lived a simple life, far from the luxury of the royal family until their deaths.Another example is the well known story of Academy Award winning actress and fashion icon, Grace Kelly and her marriage to Prince Ranier III of Monaco. The reigning monarch in Monaco today is her son, Prince Albert II.Her daughter Princess Stephanie, who is one of the most beautiful women in the world, was the subject of many tabloid stories in the 80’s and 90’s.

Acoustic guitar reviews

If you’d like to buy a new acoustic guitar, check out the reviews first. You’ll want to look at two different kinds of reviews: expert reviews and user reviews. The experts will tell you how the guitar compares to other similar models, while users will tell you how satisfied they are with their purchase.

People who have several years of guitar experience are qualified to write expert guitar reviews. The should have several guitars from several manufacturers reviewed. Even though they will have personal preferences, they should be able to determine the positive and negative of any acoustic guitar. Any biases should be explained. You don’t need someone with a degree in music, just someone with adequate experience playing different acoustic guitars. Its best if someone explains why their opinion should be considered.

If you want acoustic guitar reviews, you should look for a site that has multiple reviews of each guitar by many different musicians. Many music stores also have websites with user reviews. Each guitarist plays in different types of venues, different kinds of bands and has a unique style of music. A guitarist from a band that plays at wedding receptions has much different instrument preferences from a guitarist who plays in a rock band. Look for reviews for people who play in the same area that you do, or someday hope to.

There are a couple of tricks you can use when searching for acoustic guitar reviews by experts or users. One thing you can do is to put quotes around particular phrases like: “acoustic guitar reviews.” When using Yahoo, this trick can reduce the number of hits from 17 million, when the search is performed without quotes, to a little over 6,000, when it is used with quotes.

When searching for specific individual acoustic guitar reviews, this trick will also work. Let’s say you want to find reviews about the Martin DX1. Typle in that phrase in Yahoo search and you’ll end up with about 38,000 results. But if you type in the same phrase using quotes like this “martin dx1″ you’ll get only about 10,000.

You can also use another little trick the next time you perform a search. If you put the plus sign (+) right next to a word you want in every hit, youll be able to narrow your search even more. Martin dx1 review will bring you about 9 hits and that is due to the fact that youre only seeing the sites that contain that exact phrase.

If you try something new by entering this- “martin dx1″ into your search bar, you’ll get upwards of 500 hits. To find something more specific, like the action on a particular guitar, you can add that to the query as long as you add a plus sign to it. Acoustic guitar reviews will be easier to find, which will make your decision easier if you take advantage of these two small search tips.

Unique Christmas Gift Idea - The Green Book

With going “green” finally being recognized as vital, this book gives the matter serious attention. Contributors from Hollywood even share their best ideas. The authors, Elizabeth Rogers and Thomas M. Kostigen, look at the way Americans produce waste, utilize water and consume energy and offer easy to implement changes.

Star contributors, such as Robert Redford, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Aniston, Faith Hill and Dale Earnhardt Jr. share their helpful hints for being a good partner to our world. The authors discuss 12 areas, including our home, work, and school, and show ways to make better decisions in keeping them green. The book keys on how little changes can add up to huge savings on our environment by using descriptions versus analytical numbers.

The Green Book offers hope and practical suggestions, such as:

* Say No to ATM paper receipts. If we all in the U.S.A. wrote the amount in our checkbook instead of requesting a receipt, the paper saved would be more than 2 billion ft. long.

* Get a voice-mail service for your home phone. If all answering machines in U.S. homes were replaced by voice-mail services, the annual energy savings would total nearly two billion kilowatt hours.

This 4-star rated book earned this ranking due to the small, simple to use ideas. The one area of concern was that some of the numbers when used did not seem to be accurate. However, a simple check before quoting showed the descriptions were right on.

With wit and authority, the authors provide hundreds of solutions for all areas of your life, pinpointing the smallest changes that have the biggest impact on the health of our precious planet.

The Green Book is a great Christmas gift idea for the person on your list who loves our planet and wants to better they way it is treated.

4 Important Tips For Buying Discount Quilting Books on eBay

Quilters can often find a large variety of discount quilting books on eBay. In addition to the rock-bottom prices, there are several other advantages for buying quilting books on eBay:

New quilting book titles can often be purchased before they are released to the brick and mortar stores. Quilters who enjoy collecting books written by a particular author can often find a seller listing their entire collection on eBay.

Rare, out-of-print, and otherwise hard-to-find quilting books can often be found for sale on eBay. Before purchasing any quilting books on eBay there are several important things to be aware of. Here are five useful tips for buying discount quilting books on eBay:

Pay Attention to the Advertised Condition Be sure to carefully read the description of the quilting book offered for sale. If a book is advertised as being ’second hand,’ or ‘used condition’ be aware that the book may contain flaws such as page discoloration, and scratches, bends, and folds on the cover.

Be Aware of The Book’s History Many quilting books offered for sale on eBay are acquired from estate sales. That means that the buyer does not know the history of the book being offered for sale. The book may have been in storage for months and could have a musty odor or smell faintly of mothballs.

This is important to be aware of if you have allergies or are sensitive to odors. If the book actually belonged to the seller, they will often disclose if the book came from a smoke-free or pet-free home in the description. Some sellers, however, do not provide this information. When in doubt, always ask!

Watch Those Shipping Costs

Most sellers will ship quilting books via US Postal Service Media Mail or Parcel Post. The shipping cost, therefore, is generally not that great, unless the book being sold is oversized or a large lot is purchased. However it is important to note that not every seller will charge ‘actual’ shipping costs. Those special ‘handling’ costs that are often tacked on can include such items as tape, packing envelopes, time spent packing the books, etc.

Many sellers offer to consolidate orders, for multiple wins. This can save greatly on shipping costs. Some sellers even offer free pickup for local buyers. Read The Return Policy

Always read the return policy. Be aware that a seller will not offer a refund just because a buyer changed their mind about purchasing the quilting book. Some will refund the purchase cost if the item is not as described. Normally, however, the buyer is responsible for the cost of the return shipping. If the item is damaged during transit, a seller will not offer a refund unless insurance was purchased.

If you follow these four buying tips, buying discount quilting books on eBay will be a rewarding, profitable, and pleasant experience.

Phantom Of The Opera

Why does Waters hate Andrew Lloyd Webber?
In general, he just doesn’t like ALW’s music, and doesn’t mind saying so. But specifically, there’s a section of Webber’s Phantom of the Opera that bears a marked similarity to a part of “Echoes.” The opening notes to the “Overture” of Phantom (Track 2, Disc 1) are C# C B Bb A C#. This matches rather closely a section of “Echoes,” approximately 6:06 to 6:16.S. Todifcop and I collaborate on writing the captions and he draws all of them with Freehand. If you want to hire him to draw or illustrate, just contact me and I can email you his contact information. I LOVE MUSICALS! I enjoy the soundtrack to Wicked and the movie soundtrack of Phantom of the Opera. WOW that movie got me excited when I saw Gerard Butler playing the Phantom.. I thought WOW! He’s not the Phantom of the Opera. he’s the HOTTIE of the OPERA! Oh he’s dreamy.. sigh.

How many rings are in this film?
There is only one ring, the ring Raoul gave to Christine.

Where can I see the stage production?
Phantom originally started in London where it is still running. It is also running in New York, Australia, Sao Paulo, Budapest, Tokyo, Singapore, and a US Tour.Yes.

Why wasn’t the deformity worse?
That was a judgement call on the part of the production team. From the Q&A with Joel Schumacher on the official website: “Even though the make-up in the stage show is grotesque, and very much a copy of the Lon Chaney make-up, I felt the audience is smarter than a lot of obvious prosthetics. The Phantom is very disfigured and the right side of his face is quite tragic. Christine, however, always looks past that and views him with compassion. In the movie, Christine was born in 1854 and died in 1917.

What have you stolen from and how?
I steal from just about anything that catches my interest, and I am notorious for excessive stealing of characters directly and for using crossovers. Star Wars (I’ll steal from SW into SW, which can get pretty silly), LotR, DOOM, an old game called Master of Orion, Lexx, Farscape, Stargate, Pirates of the Caribbean, Phantom of the Opera, and oodles of other stuff.I got it from one of my friends, who got it from a file sharing program. I don’t know who did the song, but I know you can download it from various file-sharing programs such as KaZaa by typing in “Phantom of the Opera techno.” I think it’s a version from some Dance Dance Revolution game, but I’m not sure.S.

How do you know that Michael Crawford would like to do the movie?
Mr. Crawford has talked repeatedly of his connection to the character of the Phantom and that he never tires of performing the music. On the December 16th airing of The Howie Mandel Show he was asked by the shows host, “They are doing a movie of The Phantom of the Opera and YOU should play the Phantom of the Opera, right?” Crawford’s response, “I would love to do it, yes.My favorite monster character is probably the Phantom of the Opera. I also like the Creature from the Black Lagoon and King Kong quite a bit. If I may count paranormal creatures as well, then Bigfoot is high up there. I’m practically obsessed with Sasquatch, Yeti, and all the other international variations of this creature. I hope one is never caught or killed. I prefer the mystery to remain a mystery.Yes.

College Textbook Savings

Every year students flock to the college bookstore to purchase the various textbooks that they require for their classes. Little do these students realize that, in doing so, they are throwing good money away. As unbelievable as it may seem textbooks, in some cases, actually cost as much, if not more, than tuition.

On the surface the college bookstore may seem like a convenient source for textbooks. Titles are usually in-stock and students may purchase new textbooks or opt for the cheaper alternative of used books. In truth the money saved by purchasing used textbooks from the college bookstore is only a fraction of the amount that students could be saving if they shopped online.

More and more online booksellers have begun selling textbooks at a considerable discount off of the cover price. In fact, many major booksellers now have special areas of their web sites that are devoted to selling nothing but textbooks. Online used bookstores are another source for college books as they stock a large number of textbooks, which means sizable savings for students. There are also web-based retailers whose inventory is entirely devoted to college books.

Students should avoid purchasing their textbooks at the first store that they browse. Instead, they should investigate the alternatives offered by other online booksellers. Price isn’t the only factor to consider when making an online purchase. Students should also factor in shipping costs and delivery time when making their buying decision.

Online auctions are another option for students seeking a bargain. This option, however, has its pros and cons. A plus is that students can get incredible bargains when obtaining books via online auctions. One downside is that established retailers have channels in place to ensure that you receive your order within a reasonable amount of time. With an auction purchase, however, you are at the mercy of the auction seller’s timetable.

One way that students can really save is by obtaining books for free. Project Gutenberg is one resource that English majors will find invaluable. At this site students can peruse a vast collection of classics that have entered the public domain. In the past students seeking assistance with their studies had to pay for the privilege of that help by purchasing study guides. Today that is no longer the case. Cash-strapped students can now visit Spark Notes for free downloadable study guides as well as free downloadable classics.

Students who elect to buy online will no longer be able to resell their books to the college bookstore at the end of class, but that doesn’t mean that they are stuck with the textbooks. Many web sites that sell textbooks also offer students the option of selling their books to fellow bargain-seekers. This allows students to easily recouping a portion of their money.

Textbooks normally consume a major portion of a student’s budget, but that doesn’t have to be the case, because while the cost of tuition may be set in stone the price of textbooks isn’t. By taking the time to do a little research on the best textbook values available college students can save money now rather than acquiring debt to be paid back later.

Merchants Beware - Fraudsters Ripped You Off For $3.6 Billion

There is a huge subculture of criminals who are out to rip off online merchants. They even have their own forums which you can find by searching Google for “carders forum” In these forums they buy and sell credit cards by the thousands.

Carders and fraudsters use stolen credit card information primarily to buy goods and services online from unsuspecting merchants. In 2007 the total they stole from websites was $3.6 BILLION. In 2008 the total will be more than 4 billion.

There are 4 main parties to an online credit card transaction. There are the bank, the card company, the cardholder and the merchant. Did you know out of all those parties the ONLY one that has any risk when a transaction goes bad is the merchant. Not only will the merchant lose the profit, the costs associated with the goods or services but he will be fined another $20 by the card company.

One big problem online merchants have is they cannot get the cardholders signature on the order. Without a signature by the cardholder, the merchant is the only party at risk. This is because there is no proof the cardholder authorized the transaction.

Another problem for online merchants is real cardholders who buy goods and services and then later claim they never authorised the transaction. This is a growing problem and one I have found some solutions which you can apply.

What can a merchant do to avoid this problem? Thats a good question and luckily after 13 years of confronting this problem I have produced a step by step solution. You need never be ripped off again. My new book “Merchants Beware and it’s companion video will lead you through the easy steps to detecting fraud before its a problem.

Teaching Phonics To Children

Phonics is the relationship between written letters and spoken sounds. Many pre-k programs teach phonics to help children learn to read, even though they may include some whole or sight words in the teaching material as well.

Teaching Phonics: The number one step in using phonics when you are helping a child learn to read is to make sure that you are moving at a comfortable pace for the child.. He or she will need to understand the difference between vowels and consonants, and have the ability to decipher the different sounds of the letters in a word. The first words your child will learn to read will be c-v-c, consonant-vowel-consonant, words such as dog, cat and hat. Easy words such as these will help your child comprehend the relationship between the sounds in a word, so that they can be easily deciphered.

The first words that your child learns will be the words you have learned together. For example, if you are teaching your child the sounds of the letters p-a-t then you should include the word “big” often in the lessons that you are teach. Your child can not be expected to be able to read the words with letters that they have not yet learned the basic sounds for. As your child learns more letters, then he or she may be able to read on their own. Books with short, simple sentences are best for teaching phonics based lessons.

There are a variety of types of plans available for teaching phonics based lessons, but the best ones are those that use both spoken and written components. Helping your child learn to read is perhaps easiest when you have a phonics CD or dvd to provide the sounds, while your child works along in a workbook to help associate the sounds with the letters of the alphabet.

Many children enjoy learning with flashcards. Flashcards can be a useful tool when you are teaching your child to read. They can be used as a way to go over the sounds of the alphabet, or to use along with a phonics cd or dvd to help your child learn.

Exceptions: Like all subjects, there are exceptions to the rules of phonics. You should begin teaching your child these exceptions only after they have learned the basic sounds of the alphabet, and are ready to begin to learn sight words.

Helping your child learn to read will take most of the first few years of school for a complete understanding to take place, so don’t worry if you your child seems to be taking a long time to understand phonics.
